Andrea Georgiev: (guitar and vocals) , is also a member of the well-known local band, "SAJE". In addition Andrea performed with the "Color D'amor" tango band at the Gabriola Tango festival in the Summer of 2011. She has a particular affinity to music from the European, Latin and Gypsy cultures as well as her own compositions. Her rich, full voice and versatile guitar playing adds colour to every melody and ballad. |
Jeremy McDonald: ( high and low fiddle) , also with "SAJE", is a much sought after fiddle playing accompaniest and has appeared on the CDs of such accomplished artists as David Gogo and Penny Sidor. Jeremy's ability to enhance new material and re-interpret the traditional, combined with his own compositions and his exquisite sensitivity to harmonies, brings a feeling of enchantment and magic to every phrase and measure. |
Joood Heather and Rich Williams: (guitar, squeezeboxes, whistles and vocals) have been performing in and around the Pacific Northwest for the past twenty years in various different groups such as "Skweeze" and "Mardi Soir". They play traditional English and French tunes and sing in sweet harmony. They have performed at Vancouver City Fest, Seattle Folk Life Festival and the Princeton Traditional Music Festival. They have both appeared on a number of CDs, and also sang in the acapella group "Fancy That". They are currently musicians with the Gabriola village band Beggar's Drum and dancers with the Drumbeggar Border Morris side on Gabriola.
